Renewable Energy Centre, Mithradham is organising an Interactive
International Workshop on *Solar Energy and Climate Change: Planning for a
Sustainable Kerala* on 19 November 2018 (Monday) at Mithradham, Aluva,
Kerala. The workshop will include paper presentations and panel discussion
by technocrats of Kerala solar industry.
From the perspective of solar entrepreneurs, this workshop will explore the
opportunities and obstacles to meeting Kerala’s solar and sustainable
development ambitions. Panelists will discuss what tools, resources and
support are necessary to encourage solar entrepreneurship, while promoting
climate change mitigation in an equitable and sustainable manner for all
Keralites.
Dr. Heather Bedi (Fulbright-Nehru Academic and Professional Excellence
Scholar; CUSAT affiliate) will facilitate the workshop.
