Development Alternative is holding its annual event TARAgram Yatra 2016 on the theme of “Policy Shifts for Implementing the SDGs in India“ from 20th to 22nd September, 2016.
TARAgram Yatra brings together practitioners and policy makers from India and across the world to discuss issues of sustainability and identify what can we do more and different such that India transforms to a greener, sustainable, resilient and inclusive nation.
The structure of the Yatra is:
DAY 1: (20th September, 2016, 4-6pm) trialogue 2047 discussion on the theme of “Economic Transitions as a means to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals” at Development Alternatives, New Delhi.
DAY 2: (21st September, 2016) Parallel Round Table consultations/Field visits on five themes at different locations. The themes are as below:
- Climate Change and WASH (Partnered with Unicef, Delhi))
- Drivers for Employment and Entrepreneurship (Partnered with UNDP, Delhi)
DAY 3: (22nd September, 2016) The Yatra will culminate with a Plenary Session on the ‘Policy Transitions for SDG Implementation in India’ and ‘Priorities for India within the SDG Framework’ bringing together perspectives of investments required for India to meet its SDGs commitments at Development Alternatives, New Delhi.
