Spirited Talks is back this year with the theme Creating Alivelihoods: Possibilities in the Green Sector to explore various avenues and careers available in ecology, environment, sustainable living, and alternative education.

Background:
Climate Change is more real than ever and we all are aware of how it’s affecting our cities and our lives. Many of us would like to work to make our cities and villages sustainable but is there really a ‘future’ in it? Can one transform her/his passion for greener initiatives into a full-time profession? Are there avenues available in the eco-social sector for building stable and long term green careers? Are there enough opportunities available for entrepreneurship in the sustainability sector? If one does decide to pursue a green career, how does one go about making this transition? What are the skills and values that one needs to acquire to be successful in this field? These and many such usually ‘dreaded’ questions will be tackled at the event.

So join us for the Spirited Talks events in Pune and Mumbai if you would like to explore alternatives livelihoods that are good for your well-being and also that of the planet. The event will showcase some of the opportunities and possibilities that exist in creating ’Alivelihood’ and not ‘deadlihood‘ for yourself.
