As part of a study project, Making Pune a Sustainably SMART city, Samuchit Enviro Tech is conducting a workshop for citizens on Sustainability.
In this workshop we will talk about the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with a special focus on SDG 11 which deals with Making sustainable cities and communities by 2030. Dr. Priyadarshini Karve will be talking about the policy level interventions on urban planning, while Ms. Pournima Agarkar will focus on Pune city’s status in the context of SDG 11. Focus will be on understanding sustainability and brainstorming on the four pillars of SDG 11 i.e. Inclusive, Safe, Resilient and Sustainable.
As a citizen of the city, you will gain knowledge about the city’s overall planning and functioning and will be able to brainstorm as well as introspect on your role to make it a better place.
