Celebrating 200 Years of Bicycle
Bicycle ride on 11-3-2017
The year 2017 is the 200th Anniversary of the Bicycle. The Bicycle was invented in 1817 by a German, Baron Karl von Drais. We are dedicating the year 2017 to celebrate the bicentenary by conducting various activities and promoting bicycle.
We are organising a bicycle ride around Hussain Sagar, which will be held on 11th March, 2017 for celebrating the bicentenary.
By cycling around Hussain Sagar, we want to send across the message to protect our water bodies from pollution and encroachment and also the need to acknowledge and uphold a safe space for the cyclist.
Registration is a must to attend the event. Please register yourself to confirm your presence at the ride.

People who have bicycles can come to the location with their bicycles. People who do not can rent it at the bike station. To rent the bicycles, the estimated cost for each person will be around Rs. 80/-. But the exact cost (which will be equal to or less than Rs.80/-) will be intimated on that day.
