Bhoomi Habba – The Earth Festival

Visthar invites you to the 2016 edition of Bhoomi Habba, a festival celebrating ‘justice, peace and sustainable communities’, on June 11 in Bangalore.
Held at the green, environment friendly Visthar campus, the festival will showcase traditional foods from across India. The film festival screens documentaries and films from around the country on urgent, contemporary issues. Exhibitions of posters and dolls invite you to engage with struggles for justice across India. The objective of the festival is to increase our awareness of justice and peace issues and celebrate our commitment to make ‘another world possible’.
We offer possibilities for exhibition of books and campaign materials on sustainable development practices and exhibition and sale of products by rural artisans. The stall charge is Rs.1000/-. Any eco friendly / organic crafts and food products could be exhibited and sold. Plastic packaging and products are
not encouraged at the Habba. Paper bags can be purchased at our unit on the campus.For booking stalls contact crc@visthar.org. We expect about 3000 people to participate in the day-long festival.
