Students for Climate Resilience in Association with SAPACC is organising a CLIMATE CIRCLE at Thrissur (Central Kerala) on 2020 January 1.
We are planning a gathering of 5000 students from 50 Colleges and Higher Secondary schools around Thrissur Town. The programme will start at 2pm with a meeting and then students and activists will make a circle of 3 km circumference in the heart of the city. The students will take oath and carry placards, banners etc. A musical event will follow the Circle.
Prominent Climate activist Ridhima Pandey, well known cultural figures and activists will also join the program. There will be a series of programmes in connection with the campaign, such as Logo Release, Classes, Poster Design Workshop etc. in coming days.
On the January 1st Event we will also announce a climate education programme – 1000 CLIMATE CLASSES – to be conducted all over the Kerala.
