TISS, Barefoot Academy – DISTANCE LEARNING PG Diploma Course 3rd batch 2018 Open for Applications –
It is with great pride and considerable excitement that we invite applications for the 3rd batch of the Post Graduate Diploma Course Facilitating Governance Reform.
In 2016, the Barefoot Academy of Governance, in association with Tata Institute of Social Sciences, took a bold step forward in our mission to deepen democracy. The PG Diploma is not just a course, it is a new perspective on governance reform through a critical, inclusive, and compassionate lens.
Now, more than ever before, our country is in need of change. The PG Diploma Course commits to creating a cadre of Change Catalysts, governance professionals equipped with the necessary skills to facilitate reform of different governance systems, such as Health, Education, Water, Bio-Diversity, Agriculture and much more.
The course presents students with the opportunity to not just learn from the best in the field, but also to engage in critical field studies through immersion in actual rural and urban governance settings and interaction with tribal, rural and urban communities.
