Let’s come together for a 7-day experiential learning workshop on terracotta at Saathi. Here we will try to understand the journey of Maati and its cultural, economic and ecological importance in the day-to-day life of the people of Bastar. We will also learn different methods of pottery and understand the complete ecosystem surrounding the craft.
In this workshop, an attempt will be made to understand the rich pottery heritage of Bastar, along with the process of formation of clay over millions of years and to understand the eternal form of clay through practising the craft in depth.
